| BREAKING BENJAMIN FRONT MAN FINALLY GETS THE CHRISTMAS SPIRIT Breaking Benjamin frontman Ben Burnley says that he was not a fan of Christmas until last year. That's when, as Burnley told us, he finally got into the holiday spirit: "I hadn't celebrated Christmas for about 12 years, up until last Christmas was like, you know, being independent and out on my own, it was the first time I ever had my own Christmas tree other than, like, being at my mom's house or whatever. And I really enjoyed it. And I just hated Christmas for the longest time and was kind of like a grinch and just couldn't get over it, and so last year was the first time I really celebrated it."
Breaking Benjamin will begin a new headlining tour in February that will include cities the band missed when it dropped off its tour with Godsmack late last month due to illness.
The shows will start on February 6th in Lynchburg, Virginia and run through February 19th. The Pennsylvania-based band will start an opening stint for Nickelback on February 20th in Tacoma, Washington.
Breaking Benjamin has been touring in support of its third album, Phobia. |
