Actually they do. They are VERY protective of women. The reason Muslim women dress the way they do is supposed to be for their own protection-you know, from rapists and harassment.
And something most people don't know is the fact that the Qu'ran is one of the first, if not THE first written document granting women's rights and the right to divorce their husbands.
It's true most of the Muslim world today is very oppressive of women-but that's not the way it way it was supposed to be. And things are changing. Women in Iran actually dress pretty damn sexy.
