Help me out on this one democrats. I thought you guys were "for the little guy". Ms Pelosi herself said this was WHY she was pushing a minimum wage increase.

I've also heard Ms Pelosi, ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS, decry Republicans as the "party of the rich" and as being "in the pocket of big business".

So you can imagine my confusion when I see her doing the bidding of Starkist Tuna (not exactly a mom and pop operation) and SCREWING the little guys in American Samoa. The somoans ARE american citizens.

So:
Why is it ok for Ms Pelosi to be a corporate handjob and screw the samoans?

And where are you "champions of the little guy" on this issue?

Oh, and ps,you just gotta love Barney Frank going apeshit when a repub offered an amendment exempting american Samoa from the stem-cell research bill. I guess it's only ok for DEMOCRATS to treat the samoans like shit.
