Well if anyone knows about health care issues it's you. However, health care is only a small part of the situation, though I'm sure that goes without saying. Perhaps the only solution really is to take over Mexico after all. But to tell you the truth, I'm one of those people who believes that basic health care should be funded by the government like it is successfully in many other countries.
I was speaking to a friend in Australia a few months ago about health care. When I told him how much my previous doctor visit cost, he nearly fell from his computer chair. He told me that health care in Australia, while not totally free, is extremely affordable. Where I, an uninsured man, might pay around $300 to be hastily examined and dispensed some cold medicine (that I also have to pay for), a similar situation in Australia would after conversion cost about $20 USD. Australia seems to be doing fine. Why can't our healthcare be like that?
And benny boy, I know that you make your living that way so I hereby exclude you from my fantasy of free healthcare. You may continue to levy charges normally, even in the event of a sudden shift in healthcare policies nationwide. I cannot guarantee that your business will thrive, however.
