Junkernaut, "I would have never nominated either man, but at least Gore is putting effort into something worthwhile..."

Ah, junkernaut, I knew we'd meet again...

Well, at least you seem to understand the main thrust of this thread, specifically, that NEITHER Gore or Limbuagh is deserving of a Nobel, but let me ask you this. You say Gore is putting effort into something worthwhile and yet I would say that TALKING about a problem while AVOIDING the solution isn't putting anything into an argument whether that argument is worthwhile or not.

Specifically, Gore tells the rest of us we have to conserve fossil fuels and then uses fossile fuels at a rate NONE of us do. Another example:

That's right. Al Gore uses more electricity in ONE of his four homes in one MONTH than does the average american in one YEAR!!! Read the article. Those are power consumption figures from Al's ONE home in Belle Meade!!! And THIS GUY is telling me that I can't drive my SUV????

You know if you people REALLY believe in global warming, you ought to choose a speaker for your cause that actually has a shred of CREDIBILITY!!!
