First, I haven't seen the Sarah Silverman show on Comedy Central. My 14 year-old insists it's funny as hell and he has a good sense of humor. I've seen the commercials and Ms Silverman is an attractive woman etc. In short I don't know her and have nothing against her.

She recently aired a show in which she slept with god and was trying to blow him off the next day.

Christians (I'm agnostic. I believe in god but all of the religions have too many contradictions etc) are going to be understandably offended so let Nostrawilthrill spell it outfor you.

Christians will complain loudly. They will probably boycott (Comedy Central and Silverman's advertisers). Some will demand that the show be taken off the air. Some may even actually be mad enough to show up somewhere with signs and protest.

The liberals and the drive-by media will proclaim them to be INTOLERANT, wanting to push their beliefs on others (how dare they refuse to economically support that which they oppose), bigotted, and probably anti-semitic (oops sorry, "jew-hater") to boot!!!

Two questions?

1. Does it strike anyone as strange that the SAME Comedy Central that would not run a 5 second scene of Mohammad walking (nothing offensive just walking with the Family Guy) from the season premiere South Park will run an entire skit devoted to someone FUCKING the christian god? No bias there???

2. To those who proclaim Islam to be a religion of peace, what would be happening RIGHT NOW if Ms Silverman had fucked Allah instead?
