Well everyone by now knows the story of the 15 British seaman held hostage in Iran and then released. Three questions:

1. How is it that the British have become so "frenchified" as to let 15 of their seaman be captured by a "speed boat" Iranian navy? I mean for god's sake a British ship sat by and watched??????

2. What ever happened to "name, rank and serial number" or failing that at least "say what your captors want while in captivity and then tell the truth and slam the shit out of them in the press once you are free"? I mean these guys (and one woman) were saying nice things like "sure I'd go back to Iran" even after they were on British soil.

3. What do you think is the lesson the Iranians took away from this display of cowardice namely, the British gov't hasn't even attempted to punish Iran and probably won't?
