Putzdaddy, the fact that he didn't vote for it makes his "influence" far LESS BLATANT! It is one thing to "influence' something. Lobbyists do it all day long. It is quite another to actually VOTE for the largesse at taxpayer expense to your HUSBAND'S company. We can DEBATE about Cheney's involvement in Halliburton. THERE IS NO DEBATE about Di Fi's VOTING defense contracts to her hubby's company. It is a matter of record and a FACT!

As for my blowing off the trangressions of republicans you obviously haven't been here long. I'ver called for Bush's impeachment more than anyone here except clone 9 although I think he should be impeached for his betrayal at the border and not Iraq. I have been quick to criticize Bush and republicans in fact I currently have a thread up called, "Bush Funding Terrorists" so I'm hardly "in the pocket" of anyone. I support, egad brace yourself, IDEAS and will criticize anyone who opposes them regardless of their label.

The drive by media (a Rush Limbaugh remark for those who must know) is NOT objective and if it were ANY top Republican who had voted defense contracts to their spouse the drive-bys would be all over them!!!
