| I forgot how hard it is To find the right people for your project. I have posted here before and I don't know if my style is not what others want to play, or if my posts scare off people? So up to two weeks ago I had a full band with it all working towards that all important "First Gig" since Katrina then the shit hit the fan. First the bass player has missed a few practices because of work (understandable), then the keyboard player just stops showing up and sends a text message of "I Quit, can't work, go to gym and play", then the drummer decides the scene here is not what he thought it was (because he is going through a divorce) calls me last night and tells me he is moving back home (up north). So in one quick week we lost 2 very important members. What we still have is a male singer, female singer, and myself (guitar, bass, and backing vocals). I am unsure about our bass player so I am not including him in the mix right yet.
Is there a possibility that there might be a partial project out there looking to join with us and move forward as a band? We have a really cool practice place that is climate controlled and is a furnished room in a house. We have a full PA, monitors, lights and loads of expirence. We practice in the long beach area.
Would love to have something going before spring is over....
