| A DAY FOR DYLAN On June 9th 2007, Creighton Hobbs of 8 Short of a dozen productions and the Kibby Family have arranged some bands and a family day to bring people together in recognition of Childhood Cancer Awareness. The name of this event is called “A Day for Dylan”. About Dylan
Dylan is a 3 year old little boy with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia or ALL. ALL is a quickly progressing type of blood cancer in which too many immature white blood cells called lymphoblasts are found in the blood and bone marrow. Acute leukemia gets worse very quickly and people with acute leukemia often feel sick right away. It is really difficult to begin life with cancer and just as difficult for a parent to raise a child that is diagnosed with a disease. especially dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina right after the diagnoses. So, we would like to bring the Gulf Coast together to share this special day and help raise money for this child and his parents. We have one great event planned….just take a look on the following pages of what is going to happen on June 9th 2007, at the East Jackson County Civic Center 9313 Old Stage Rd.
