It's a dead end. Once again, no local support. But if we garnered some national interest... and that's not even considering the fact that when you tour there's no telling who you'll end up playing in front of. Save your advertising money. Let your record label pay for that after you get signed. Use that money for a tour! And I'm talking about touring over and over and over and over again. |
What I ment, and maybe I didn't make it clear enough, was to advertise a damn fun and intresting show. Not just saying this is Us and we will be there at 10 pm, $5 to get in...Capture the eye.
And the thing is, as a musician you are too busy perfecting your music and your show...what you need is someone ELSE to do that for you.
Touring is fine and good...But what about the bands that have kids and wives and full time job that they have to pay the rent with? In my OPINION stay home first, and advertise. AND THEN, you will make this place so intresting that bands that are touring will want to come HERE instead of ya'll go THERE!
Besides, I'm not going to travel to New York City to see you play, Ron! :P
