Bush is promising roughly $4 billion for enforcement in exchange for amnesty.

Ah hello, we've heard that tune before. We heard it in 1986 when you guys amnestied 3,000,000 illegals promising to enforce the border. You didn't. We heard it LAST YEAR when in an attempt( earily similiar to this one) to placate conservatives you promised to build 700 miles of fence. WHERE'S THE FENCE??? That's right you haven't built it. WE DON'T BELIEVE A WORD YOU SAY ABOUT ENFORCEMENT!!! And we sure as hell don't want to trade amnesty for your hollow promises.
