Well Mikael, the title isn't the only damning thing.

The basic thrust of the article was the authors saw PROGRESS in Iraq and the MILITARY part of the problem IS coming under control. The authors themselves said they thought we should give the surge until 2008. They also said that the "debate" in Washington (read the democratic position that we should pull out now) was "SURREAL"!

Now the democrats who APPROVED the surge and PETREUS and a SEPTEMBER REPORT are saying we should pull out now.

These guys are war critics working for an institution that has been a war critic and published in a "newspaper" that is the PREMIERE war critic so you can't make hay by claiming they are republicans/ conservatives or Bushbots.
