| Help?
My band (Make Ends Meet: based out of Mobile, AL)is ready to record a 4-5 song demo. We're a 4 person pop-punk/alternative rock band. This is my first dealing with studio work and we could really use some help being as we are somewhat flying blind.
We dont want to put time into recording and it come out with bad quality. For the time being, these recordings are going to represent us as a band on myspace as well as cd's that we can burn and sell at shows for a few bucks. We mainly want to get our name out and have people listening to us outside of shows.
We know that recording isn't cheap and we've had many quotes fall around the $40/hour range. We're willing to work with people who have the equipment but are still cutting their teeth in the art of recording if it means that the price could be reasonable.
Any help/assistance would be appreciated.
