| I find the part about not permitting sweets and snacks near check-out lines kind of absurd. In response to, say, gambling addiction, casinos aren't kept from being built, advertised, or out of main areas of cities and towns just because some of us can't control urges.
How many smokers buy their packs of cigarettes and take what the surgeon general's warning says seriously enough to quit right then and there?
Addictions are all matters of self-control and faith. A label warning you of what you already know to be dangerous isn't effective. |
