| Well, with Iraq, Saddam WANTED the world to believe he had WMD's. He said he had them and with him not letting U.N. inspectors in the country, we had no way of being sure. I for one am glad that sick, sadistic bastard is dead.
Now, consequently, our invasion of Iraq put the brakes on Iran's nuclear weapons program-Iran (specifically Ineedajihad) knew they could be next. Why do you think they're supplying weapons and training to insurgents in Iraq? To keep us tied up there so they can buy time.
