from the article:
Microsoft is developing Big Brother-style software capable of remotely monitoring a worker’s productivity, physical wellbeing and competence.
The Times has seen a patent application filed by the company for a computer system that links workers to their computers via wireless sensors that measure their metabolism. The system would allow managers to monitor employees’ performance by measuring their heart rate, body temperature, movement, facial expression and blood pressure. Unions said they fear that employees could be dismissed on the basis of a computer’s assessment of their physiological state.
Two things:
1 Mikael you read the first chapter of my proposed book. Am I a fucking psychic or what?
2. This kind of monitoring would be scary enough but having the same geniuses who twenty years later STILL can't make an operating system comparable to a Mac, as the "inventors" is really scary. Microsoft is great at business and LOUSY at computers. If this system works "as well as" Windows it will spend most of the time locked up!!!!!!!
