I'm really looking forward to returning to Mississippi Saturday. The two shows(yes, SHOWS) I was lucky enough to be a small part of were (1)the Catastrophe's presentation of ROCKIN-4-TAYLOR-2 where I provided counterbalance to the shear talent of Man Down, the skill of OROKO, the power of F'N A-HOLES, the emotion of Plethora's last performance and in general getting my musical ass kicked by any and everybody in the house INCLUDEING the sound-man, who is as good as anybody on the coast. (2)My second trip over y'alls way was to GOVEREMENT STREET GROCERY. The bill that night was buzzincuzzin, KO-lija and the F'N A-HOLES with the idea being southern boys drinkin-n-pickin. To quote Forrest Gump,,,, "it was a fine idea". Given the third time is a charm you can see WHY I'm excited to host the wet tee shirt contest at the legendary SWEETS LOUNGE. If the weather remains in the high 40s to low 50s the wet tee shirt WILL BE CANCELED due to health concerns for the ladies but we will proceed straight to the nicest nipple competitions. THERE IS A DIFFERENCE between a gig and a SHOW! See ya down to SWEETS
