Yes its a good studio for the area. Does some jingles, been alot of hip hop as of late. One of the first bands to ever record there was my last band II far Gone.
Didn't care for the engineer, he was fresh out of the conservatory, he did great getting the tracks recorded, but his mastering skills was lacking. Haven't dealt with any of his work lately maybe he has gotten better

the yellow 8 1/2 x 11 union card all the players sign is a contract stating the obvious 'work for hire' stuff along with the union pay scale depending on the intended use for the music recorded during the session: demo, limited pressing, master, tv/film, etc. one of the major benefits of being in the union (and signing the card) is if what you worked on moved from a demo (for instance) to a master, or tv/film use, you'd get another check in the mail for the difference in rates. if you do a union session, you sign the card.
