Different attack, different settings on different gear, and different mind-set entirely. I'd love to get a couple of beers, six shots of Cuervo and a pair of Bert's tone monsters on a big outdoor stage and shower down,,, but into the machine most of the enthusiasm just won't transfer(and it would shake the foundation of the building). Bert's about as good of a "home studio" man as you'll find along the coast. I'd wager he could beat up a recording after the fact so nobody would notice BUT him. If I had to play to the machinery all the time I'd slit my(or some-body's) throat. |
