1: Am I missing something here? This is forum and forum according to Webster is "a public meeting place for open discussion c: a medium (as a newspaper or online service) of open discussion or expression of ideas".
2: I stay away from the political side of the forum because my views are not the same as most. I firmly believe in the Death Penalty, the kid who did John in is fantastic candidate for that position. I have lived all over the world and one thing I know for a fact is that we are just to damn easy on all lawbreakers. Just ask any victim of a violent crime and see how they feel when the criminal gets off because of Cruel and Unusual Punishment. I have been to the Philippines where that kid got caned and I firmly believe with public punishments like that (televised even)our crime rate will drop drastically and quite quickly. Either through attrition or common sense.
3: Thread stealing, I really do not understand this concept. I know what it is but I am unsure why its stealing. If someone makes a post about Car X being the fastest in the world and I say I have Car Y and its the best and everyone agrees with me. Is it stealing or another path of the original post/thread?
4: Helpful articles where have you been? Did you see all the stuff about studios and the advice in there? He lets take it a step further, while we have not met you may not know anything about me but I do about you. Part of being a musician is to know who is out there IMO. Why not start a thread on Modes? Scales etc....
As far as the site I think its a great Idea and I have spoke with Marc about various subjects and I do have the site links on my personal webserver (I average over 400 hits a day and its not about porn) and on MySpace and I tell as many people about the GCB Site that will listen to me.
I am being honest and said this on another thread is everything OK, you not like your usual self and it appears as if something bad has just happened to you or maybe the stress of work? Hey if you want to take this off line and speak to a stranger PM me and I'll shoot ya my number
