| To outline my plan a little....... In the name of GCB we(the 50) meet quarterly at a predetermined location/date. Place the names of the imitate area venues that have live entertainment that night in a hat and pick one. Go there and have a drink or two. This would (1)give the GCB street-sweepers an evening out not knowing what to expect (2) give some unsuspecting band/act a larger interested entergetic audience(we're music lovers genre be damned) and (3)the venue picks up $$$$$. $10 per cap = 2 drinks or 3 beers so reasonably $500-1000. Individually we are each out less than $25 and 4-5 hours from our lives creating some legitimate unbiased noise on the scene. After a time or two I think the Carma would come home to roost and we will have heard some acts/people we would have never seen on a bet. FIELDTRIP!! |
