Well it is NOT the same as ethanol. Ethanol requires certain parts of certain plants i.e. corn or sugar cane.

This guy claims he can do it with ANY plant material. The husks, the stalks, wood pulp, leftovers from dinner, even the clippings from your front yard.

So for ethanol you would have to plant an acre of corn or sugar cane and could "harvest" it when the pants reach maturity (probably two or three times per year).

This guy could plant the same acre in grass and "harvest" every time he cut the grass or every two weeks or so.

Also his process looks a lot simpler than building your own refinery in the back yard. I mean it looks as if you'd just need some storage container, you put in the plant material, ad his "digestive enzymes" and wait. In other words it appears something that the every day person could actually do on his own.

Finally as the article said "The research has received strong support from the U.S. Department of Defense, Department of Energy, Department of Agriculture and committees in both chambers of Congress, and Bell plans further discussions in Washington, D.C., next week."

So it sounds like there might actually be something to what he is saying. Now this WOULD appear to be something that Big Oil wouldn't be fond of so I guess we get to see WHO our "leaders" are actually serving when we see if this ever sees the light of day.

And drive-by's I know you are torn. I mean we know you hate Bush so on one hand SHOULD want to publish this as a way of attacking him and Big Oil. But you are also subservient to the dirt people and since this doesn't involve a conversion to socialism they will oppose it no matter how good it is for the environment. Also this bears all the markings of an ACTUAL news story so I know you are standing there like deer caught in the headlights wondering HOW you can link this to Britney Spears.

Here's an idea. Just run the damn story!!!!
