| I don't have the time to look it up, but a few months ago I saw an article saying that the Chi-coms were not going to allow the athletes to bring Bibles etc into the country. (Can't remember if they were excluding just the bible or all holy books).
NOW, that to me would seem to be a problem and if Wilthrill ruled I'd say, "it's the Olympics BEOTCH!!! If you can't deal with freedom for the athletes for TWO WEEKS then you have NO BUSINESS hosting the Olympics."
So basically countries with horrible human rights records have been allowed to host the games but if they wish to impose their tyranny on the athletes I'd say HELL NO!!! |
