Well you guys know full well of my antipathy toward John McCain. I will NOT under any circumstances vote for him.

So, of course, I took a look at Obama. And like Lerxtcat I originally thought well he is a liberal but so is McCain and Hillary. I think the only vote Hillary should get is a wooden stake through the heart and so maybe I could vote for Obama.

But then his REAL VIEWS started coming to light.

Reverend Wright (you will NEVER convince me that Obama doesn't share the views of his TWENTY-YEAR "spiritual advisor")

Then Michelle Obama saying she'd never as an adult been proud of her country and the US is a "mean-spirited" country. (I suppose the bitch wasn't proud when the US defeated what had been the MOST BRUTAL GOV'T in world history at that time and thus FREED literally somewhere in the neighborhood of a BILLION people. Perhaps she wasn't proud of the literally BILLIONS of dollars we have spent aiding victims of natural disasters in the last thirty years. Perhaps she like Eldrich Cleaver should go to Africa if she is so ashamed of her country. Cleaver lasted LESS THAN ONE YEAR in Africa before returning to his "shameful" homeland.)

Then Obama trashed his OWN GRANDMOTHER saying she was a "typical white woman".(I don't trust ANYONE who would throw the grandma who raised him under the bus. Furthermore the comment "typical white woman" is BLATANTLY racist.)

Then the Bill Ayers story this thread is about.

Then Obama saying that small town people "are bitter and cling to their religion and guns". (Demonstrates a complete lack of understanding of religion and guns as well as a contemptuous attitude towards the MAJORITY of this country. Religious people are no more "bitter" than their secular counterparts. People like Obama "cling" to their gun bearing THUGS (aka secret service). They of course don't need a gun because they have SEVERAL HEAVILY ARMED people around them 24/7! The rest of us can't afford several heavily armed people so we keep guns instead. I'll respect a politician enough to debate him on gun control when he is willing to go UTTERLY DEFENSELESS in public. Until then he is a HYPOCRITE and doesn't even have the moral authority to TALK about gun control.)

Call me crazy but I don't vote for OPEN RACISTS (no matter what their skin color) to be the MOST POWERFUL MAN/WOMAN in the world.
