It is a video clip of a Hamas leader saying that Carter's visit will help end the US attempt to isolate Hamas from the world community.

So somebody please help me out here. The State Department has listed Hamas as a terrorist organization. If I were to go to Syria hold a press conference and give Hamas a $10,000,000 check I would be ARRESTED for supporting terrorism. The current President could do what I can't because he is in charge of foreign policy. The current President could also send someone else to do what I can't for the same reason.

BUT A PRIVATE CITIZEN can't!!! A private citizen would go to jail for supporting a terrorist group!!

So how is it that Carter (a private citizen acting WITHOUT direction from the current President) can go over there and give Hamas something worth FAR MORE than $10,000,000 and NOT face any charges? How can he support a terrorist organization and be punished LESS THAN the typical JAYWALKER????
