I loved guns, loved VR and will probably love anything that slash is involved with. he is the reason i started playing guitar in the first place. before deciding on weiland they actually tried out the singer from buckcherry and one of the songs they were working on ended up being used by buckcherry and was called crazy bitch.....betcha didn't know that.
i liked corabi in the crue too. he would be an interesting choice. aside from the voice they should definitely go with someone who either never had big drug issues or has been over it for a long time like dave mustaine (not a vocal example but an example of someone that doesn't pose a huge threat of being arrested for heroin half way through a tour)
having said that, I predict that the stp tour will not go off without a hitch. I'm sure there will be cancellations/postponements or an early ending b/c of weiland's addiction. and when it happens I'll bring this post back up and say "told ya so"
