| Anybody see the Toadies at CPR Fest around 2000 (it was outdoors)?
They played about half their set, and said "What do you want to hear?"
Everybody yelled "Possum Kingdom!"
The singer was all like, "Good, if we play that goddamn song can we just go home?"
They were such sarcastic assholes the whole show, it was great.
I remember the guitarist saying, "That is not how you crowd surf, you bunch of pussies! Here is how its done..." *jumps in crowd*
Stabbing Westward was great that year also. |
