Bands with any kind of success tour and bust their ass, I guess it goes back to the whole "those who can, do..." type of thing.

You are exactly right. Why would you want to open yourself to unwanted critisim from other people by basically lying about your band. It's hard enough in this business to battle the critisim you are going to get without adding to it. And some of us have been in this business long enough to know when someone is full of shit.
