Like spert's slow VW rabbit (50hp), take a look at the horsepower #'s on that CRX, I'm sure it's low compared to whats on the road today. My VW which gets 50mpg only has 90hp. Yet, still takes me where I need to go, I've even had it up to 95mph before I think hp is also a big factor in efficency. Hopefully Detroit will get something on the market and maybe I can afford a used one 5 years down the road.
