A friend of mine did the same thing almost, he mounted a 460 on a frame and covered it with a Pinto Roundabout shell. Sadly he did not drive it too much as it served as a really great speedster except it was also the vehicle that he died in. It was a closed casket funeral, this thing was a sleeper all around for the casual viewer. He still had the Pinto tires up front but slicks were in the back. The drive shaft was a few u-joints and a real small shaft. He met his maker while racing in Harrison county and he hit a power line with the car. The force of the accident cut the pole off at the base and somehow was left vertical because the power lines did not break.
