Producer/Engineer Summit @ Welcome To 1979

hey kids-

last year we hosted a rather intimate (and dare i say ultra cool) producer/engineer summit at Welcome To 1979 Studio in Nashville, TN. it was a great success and we're happy to announce that we're doing it again this year!

November 13/14 (sat/sun) with a kick off party the night of the 12th.

$150 per person, we're limiting it to 60 people, and it's not just for producer/engineer types, it's a great place to shop for a producer/engineer for your next project too!

Follow this link for complete panelist details for this years' summit- it's going to be quite the line-up!

http://www.chrismara.com/promo/2nd1979Summit.pdf

i expect this to fill up pretty fast, especially since we're getting great response from the people that attended last year, so if you're interested in attending hit me up at cym@mindspring.com for info on how to reserve a spot!

Drummer LF cover group or good original group!

Hi everyone. My name is Richie Henry, for those who don't know me. I teach at the Jackson Ave. Muse in Ocean Springs, and I am now bringing back an old direction. I am looking to join (..or start) a full time gigging cover group OR join (..or start) a full time gigging originals group. My ambition towards a cover group would require regular rehearsals of some (more interesting) chart toppers with enough overall group talent for casino potential. My originals ambition would be leaning more towards an idea of such influences like Radiohead or Mutemath, to keep the list short. You know, rock music that's like-able but something a little different and interesting.

Any way, if you think you'd like to be apart of any of these ideas do give me a call or text: 228 235 0041. Nothing's necessarily set in stone, I would just really like to start getting back out there, make money, and have fun! Thanks everyone!

Dead Fish Washed up in Biloxi

Last time I was in Biloxi on the 3rd, Place smelled like rotten seafood. Saw the news said the beach was full of dead fish. While looking for a news article online just now, I noticed the same thing has happened at about 4 other beaches on the east coast. Also the Biloxi dead fish were being blamed on a pogey boat. All that is being said for the east coast is lack of oxygen. I don't know, but you have to wonder if this all relates to the spill.
