Myspace Ads Get Personal

Myspace has created a new ad-system that will display ads based on what's in your profile.

MySpace says the new system increased the chances of a user clicking on a banner ad by 80%. MySpace parent company NewsCorp will roll out the service this fall.

If it's already working, THAT's why I get all the lame ads.

LOL... all my ads are MOM related... I actually noticed that a while back! I want cool ads!

Yeah its kinda funny. I get ads for Bass Guitars and offers to go Bass Fishing ! I guess the Ad-Ware doesnt' know the difference.

Yeah, so I clicked on a match.com one way earler today and the three times I've logged into Myspace that's the ad now... Mark thinks I'm trying to cheat on him! HAHA

Its OK with me as long as the ads still use the state of the art flash ads (which I cheerfully block all) and I also block by key words and most of anything else that people love about the internet. I love Firefox and the add-ons that can be added to Firefox. So currently I receive maybe 5% of the text ads on a entire page, give me time I will figure how to defeat the texted basses google-ad.......
