AC/DC Live Album Coming to Rock Band
An 18-song video-game track pack featuring performances from the 1992 concert album AC/DC Live will be made available in November exclusively from Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores, and via the retailers' websites. AC/DC Live: Rock Band Track Pack will be playable in conjunction with the Rock Band and Rock Band 2 games. In other news, AC/DC have extended their upcoming North American tour through a Jan. 31 show in Nashville.

Rockers Unite for Ailing Lit Stickman
Dozens of musical acts have donated hand-signed memorabilia and other items to a charity auction to benefit ailing Lit drummer Allen Shellenberger. Artists contributing collectibles to the sale include Nickelback, Linkin Park, Staind, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the Offspring, Aerosmith, Avenged Sevenfold, Disturbed and Billy Idol. Bids can be placed through Oct. 9 here. Shellenberger was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in May and is undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments.

FleaFlea Taking Red Hot Music Courses
Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea has enrolled as a student at the University of Southern California to study music while the group remains on hiatus. The bassist is taking classes in music composition, music theory and jazz trumpet. "Being in a band has been an education, and being on tour has been an education," he explains, "so this is just me furthering my education." Flea adds that it might be another year before the Peppers reconvene.

Rage Guitarist Schedules Nightwatchman Trek
Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello has mapped out a solo North American tour in support of The Fabled City, the latest album he's released under his Nightwatchman moniker. The trek, which will feature both acoustic and full-band electric sets at each stop, kicks off Nov. 1 in San Francisco and is scheduled through a Nov. 21 gig in New York. Morello also will appear at the New Yorker Festival this Saturday in New York.

Hagar Ready To Rock Fresno Cabo Wabo
Sammy Hagar will celebrate the recent opening of his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Fresno, Calif., with a pair of free concerts at the club on Oct. 28 and 29. "Get ready to party and hear some new stuff from our new album," the ex-Van Halen singer writes online. Hagar's itinerary also includes his previously announced October birthday shows in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; two already-reported November benefit gigs in St. Louis; and a Nov. 16 stop in New Orleans.
