We used it last night. Worked like a charm. Ran our bass and vocals through it.
It's a small powered mixer with two 12 inch JBL's.
It works fine for the Celtic. It's a small place.

**let the gossip commence

Monday night is $1 beer night at the Celtic. The bartender told me that there were 6 cop cars waiting out-side the bar all night. As people left...they all got DUI's. One guy got arrested before he got to his car because they searched him and found some weed.
Word around the camp fire is that Thunder has everything to do with it.

Also, is it true that if you play for him, you can't play anywhere else around town?

Is this how he does business?

I really don't know. I had heard that the other bars wouldn't hire you if you were one of thunders bands.

I know bands who have played for Thunder and still played in other places. I don't think that's true.

to my understanding, ryan and thunder have an agreement with each other about bands. that came from ryan one night when I went out there to watch blu.

shit man, i wouldn't put it past him.
I don't know him on a personall level, but i've heard stories from some guys who've been playing around here back in the 80's.
I guess old thunder use to have some interesting tactics back then.

of course it's all stories. who know's?
I'm sure he runs a VERY legit business.
