I've got plenty of basses to go around- that might be fun.
I've hosted a couple of Bass Summits on the coast, those were pretty fun. We never had 'lessons,' per se, but that's an interesting idea.

i have a bass guitar that hasn't been out of its case in over a year. my practice amp is in a box somewhere.

Has anyone seen the "Nobody likes the bass player" sketch from Kids In The Hall? It's hilarious and it basically sums up the whole bass player dilemma. Everyone wants to sing or play guitar, nobody wants to be the boring old bass player! Even I only got into playing bass because that's what was needed for the band I wanted to join. Now I love it. Don't have time for another project, though. Hell, I'd be playing with Consumption if I didn't have a girlfriend!

As soon as someone gets that million dollar record contract, where a bass player can quit his day job to go on the road with your band, im sure bassists will start falling out of the woodwork.
