Due to the geographical region your located at (Houston) thats not considered the Gulf States area. The Gulf Coast is more commonly known as Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. Texas is considered more of a Mid-Western State; even though parts do touch the Gulf of Mexico. Most who are here are from the Gulf Coast region, Mis, La, Al, and Fl.

Now if you want to get Technical...If it touches the Gulf Coast then it is a gulf coust state...TX is not Mid west it is considered Deep south along with Louisianna, Mid west is OK and kansas...I should know I grew up in ALL of them. and if you call TX Mid-west you will have gotten a mouthfull. But as of yet I don't really care for the actual geographical location of a state.....
I'M JUST LOOKING FOR ARTISTS!! Texas is a confusing as hell state. I kinda figured that I might be waundering outa range but you never know, the net is a huge place. I could find someone here.

i've tried getting some people from the houston/galvestion tx area on this board to spread the wealth....they just don't get on here much.
