which bass head would be better?

i need a really cheap bass head, for practice use for a month or two to push a kustom 1,000watt 4x10 then ill have a good bit more $$$ get one alot better/more powerful

either a
peavey MkIII (150w) $179.99 sounds better im sure
or
behringer Behringer BX4500H (450w) $259.99 more power

its basicially between these 2, and they're probably heading to music go round after im done

Hey Bert, correct me if im wrong, but wouldnt both of those amps he mentioned be grossly underpowering that 1000 watt cab ?

Doesnt that usually make a fuzzy and distorted sound with a mismatch like that ?
