Rep Power: 46 ![]() ![]() | CHERRY-BOMB'S MUSIC NEWS Rock Round Up My Chemical Romance singer Gerard Way has announced that he is engaged,. While rumors surfaced after Way began wearing a ring on his left hand, his bandmates initially claimed that their frontman was merely wearing a friendship ring. But Way confirmed the rumors on Friday (June 1st) in Germany, where he said, "(The band members) are lying. The truth is I'm engaged and I'm really excited about it." Way declined to name his fiancee, although according to band message boards he has been dating a hair dresser named Eliza Cutz. Rush has once again pushed back the release of the DVD Album version of the band's new record, Snakes and Arrows. The limited edition package is now arriving on June 26th due to what the band called "a handful of unfortunate yet unavoidable production delays." The DVD version contains the entire album in 5.1 surround sound and a 43-minute video documentary on the making of the album. (Blabbermouth) # Cake's new EP of B-sides and rarities is now scheduled to come out on August 14th. A limited edition of the disc will come with scratch-and-sniff packaging featuring scents of roses, leather and bananas. The track listing includes covers of songs by Black Sabbath, Kenny Rogers, Frank Sinatra, Buck Owens and Barry White, plus some hard-to-find originals. The '90s alt-rockers also have a live album in the works. (Tunelab Music) # Stone Sour has announced another round of U.S. tour dates that will begin on August 3rd in Fargo, North Dakota and finish up on September 2nd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Perry Caravello claimed he was "tricked" into placing the device on his privates and was told by Knoxville that he'd get $10 million just for agreeing to do it. Unfortunately for him, the trap snapped, and according to his lawsuit, he "was severely injured when the trap literally went on his manhood." Caravello's lawsuit also alleges that Carolla and Knoxville had a hand in putting unauthorized footage of the incident on to the Internet. Kimmel is named in the suit because he had allegedly promised to give Caravello a cut from the DVD sales of the TV movie, Windy City Heat. Also, Caravello said he was attacked by another actor before an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
