It was hot in the colliseum the last cprfest I went to that was inside. It was only cool in the hallways.

July or August, it's still way too hot in the summer to be outside all day! It was nice and cool inside last year, but then I was in the stands and not on the floor. Walking in from the far parking lot was enough summer heat for me!

yeah, but doesn't that take away from the whole "fest" thing???? I went to OzzFest three times in the SUMMER heat... IDK... that just sucks for me, makes me sad.

Anybody see the Toadies at CPR Fest around 2000 (it was outdoors)?

They played about half their set, and said "What do you want to hear?"

Everybody yelled "Possum Kingdom!"

The singer was all like, "Good, if we play that goddamn song can we just go home?"

They were such sarcastic assholes the whole show, it was great.

I remember the guitarist saying, "That is not how you crowd surf, you bunch of pussies! Here is how its done..." *jumps in crowd*

Stabbing Westward was great that year also.

I didn't stay long enough last year to see puddle of mudd so I'm glad they're back and I'm looking forward to seeing P.O.D. I'm not as excited as everyone else seems to be to see the toadies....I don't own any of their shit so I only know like 3 songs of theirs......but I'm still looking forward to the whole thing all together.....maybe mostly b/c I'm doing the national anthem again.

Yup, that was the last show I went to...are you sure it wasn't 99... for some reason, I'm thinking it was 99 because I was pregnant in 00 and didn't go, but I remember that.

they're kind of interesting because most of their songs have more than 3 chords and none are power chords. They're really good musicians who've mastered the 'make it simple and catchy' technique. I thought they disbanded a while back, but I guess they're 'rebanded?'
Seems to me they'll stand out a bit from the rest of the lineup

I understand how you feel, but you're still very young. A lot of us old folks still like to rock but can't take the summer heat all day anymore! Anyway it sure seemed like 10,000 people still had a great time inside last year! I bet you'd still have fun even if it was different for you.
