"dirt farmer"...levon helm. a very good albumn if your into traditional/bluegrass.

You've probably heard Levon Helm and just not realized it, A-
he's the singing drummer for The Band. When Bob Dylan went electric, they were his backing band, and they eventually became famous in their own right.

If you've heard:
'The Weight (Take a load off Annie)'
'the Night they Drove Old Dixie Down'
'Up on Cripple Creek'

or seen the movie 'the Last Waltz,' you've heard/seen Levon Helm and the Band.
Robbie Robertson (guitarist) is probably their best known member, having a pretty succesful solo career after the Band disbanded. But Levon is still going after recently surviving cancer, and is considered a pioneer of American music, especially of the Southern variety.
