Music Therapy 101 is a recurring national music industry seminar, workshop and conference geared towards educating students and professionals on the business of music and providing a professional atmosphere for networking, negotiating and knowing the business of music.

JaWar, Author of the Music Industry Connection Book Series and Kemetic Records began MT101 as a four-panel workshop in March 1998 on the campus of Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. One of the primary goals was to give students practical knowledge that would help them to succeed in the music industry. Areas of interest included marketing and promotions, entertainment law, studio recording, public relations and retail. Since its inception the seminars have grown into a regular discussion on the business of music.
