Ok, so I am a chic and fell in love with "life is beautiful" the first time I heard it on the radio, so I decided to I-Tune it.. wtf got the whole cd.

It's a journey through his recovery from heroin and rather inspirational. I'm not addicted to heroin (just Reese's, lol) but it also talks about a lot of the 'musician' life...

Overall, I really liked it. Honestly thought I had wasted my $9.99 at first when he started talking like a diary...and there's a few moments when he attempts to sing like Queen and he just ISNT a singer...period...other than that, I say I'm happy with the purchase.

It's awesome and the book is great, too. It made me really cut back on drinking so much and see that life is beautiful without all the other stuff getting in the way.

I'm making Mark read that book BEFORE he and Slate really get back into it, because I have all the faith in the world that they will make it and drugs and shit ruined it once, it would suck for it to happen again...

I'm listening to it right now actually!

Mark says the album depressed him... but I think it inspired me... differnt strokes for different folks I guess..

it's a depressing world...but one person's depression could be another's liberation, it's all how you look at it...

I guess that's the difference between a pessimist (sp?) and optomist (optimist? I don't care, I can't spell...didn't we already have this conversation...haha)

It was kind of psycho with that weird Christmas music opening the cd. After I read the book, I understood why they did that.
Funny he'd drink because he was depressed, did coke because the drinking slowed him down, then did herion because he got paranoid from the coke, the drank because he felt like shit, the did .....
