Last Movie You Watched? - Page 9

Serenity (the movie) and Firefly (the series). If you haven't seen this, take the time and watch. They are sci-fi, but it's just the setting, not what the show is about. It's more like a bunch of space cowboy outlaws and the trouble they can get into. Even my wife likes it, and she HATES sci-fi stuff.

I liked both the series and the movie. Joss whedon is the man.

I saw The Lake House last Saturday. Strange but kind of enjoyable even if it was more of a chic flick. I went with a friend while our daughters were watching Click? with Adam Sandler? She boo-hooed so much I laughed at her. I mean snot and the whole nine yards. I cried a little bit at the end but was laughing at the same time because I felt so stupid. I CAN'T wait for Pirates of the Carribean(sp) Dead Mans Chest or whatever, (the second one anyway) to come out on July 7th! Johnny Depp is the man for CPT Jack Sparrow.

I may take off early from work Friday. I love going to Beef O'Bradys for a bite and then to see a movie at the Grande. Hell a soda is more than the price of your ticket so I try to eat and drink first. I have a weakness for the orange creme smoothies now that the frozen mocha machine broke.

Dave Chappelle's Block Party: even if your not a rap music fan it's a good concert movie. All of the music is performed live w/musicians and the line-up is off the chain. Mos Def, Kanye West, Erykah Badu to name a few. ?uestlove and Knuckles from the Roots do all the percussion fo most of the acts. It's worth the rental.

That movie still creeps me out even though I have seen it a few times. __________________ 'You'll get over it...' It's the clich's that cause the trouble. To lose someone you love is to alter your life for ever. You don't get over it because 'it' is the person you loved. The pain stops, there are new people, but the gap never closes. How could it? The particularness of someone who mattered enough to grieve over is not erased by anyone but death. This hole in my heart is in the shape of you and no one else can fit. Why would I want them to??
