Director Oliver Stone is currently filming "W.", a chronicle on the life and presidency of George W. Bush, to be released later this year. Josh Brolin and Elizabeth Banks star as President Bush and and the First Lady, with Thandie Newton as Condoleezza Rice.
Advance reviews of the script, written by Stanley Weiser, are bashing it mercilessly. A short excerpt from the script:

ABC News also reported extensively on an early draft of "W" back in April, revealing
scenes from the script that included:
-- Bush drinking vodka mixed with orange juice out of a trash can at the DKE frat house while impressing his fraternity leader with his ability to memorize the names of his fellow pledges.
-- Bush screaming: "Thirty days! I'd like to stuff a plate of freedom fries down that slick piece of s--'s throat!"when he hears about French Prime Minister Jacques Chirac's desire to give weapons inspectors 30 more days to work in Iraq.
-- Bush and his top advisers locking the war-wary Powell out of a room, erupting into laughter when they finally let him in.
And finally, NY Magazine snarked on "W." also back in April, stating it ""
Will Be the Comedy Hit of 2009""
