i was only saying, don't base your decision solely on its price and what it can do for you now. The future holds some pretty amazing things, some we have seen, some we have no idea about. i believe they will be able to take the PS3 into that unkown area us mere mortals know nothing about.

of course, it could go down in flames also...lol

Some of you are to young to remember all the Hype that Sony threw out there with the Betamax. While it also had the better specs, and basically blew VHS away it was the VHS that was cheaper to produce, tapes cost less and majority of the public did not get carried away with all that hype. I do agree that the PS is one hell of a box, IMO I think the Wii is a better system when it comes to the over all fun factor. That damn controller on the Wii "ROCKS:"

the walmart in ocean springs has four 60gig playstation 3's. I went about an hour ago and saw them. They are 599

The PS3 freaking rocks. The graphics are incredible. It is a superior gaming system.....for now. I'm enjoying it.
