I don't get the point of why muscians play either of these games (obviously I'm not a gamer). Mark would always start to play Guitar Hero and say fuck it, go pick up his real guitar and write a song. lol.

I'm a drummer on rock band. My daughter is the singer and my son plays guitar. We have a 'rock band' band. Its fun...

Guitar Hero is more difficult skill-wise, but Rock Band is much more fun in my opinion.

yeah, its great. My daughter, who is 7, has this little natural rock star in her. She ad-libs words and phrases and does these lead singer type moves. I've been trying to convince her that singing lessons would really help her be a great singer, but she says she can already sing.... haha.. spoken in true rock star fashion...
