Rep Power: 0 ![]() | THE WII the nintendo WII is damn awesome. think duck hunter for nintendo 64 meets PS2 meets everything the eye toy wanted but couldnt do (except the picture thing) ive been playing zelda on it and the freedom of motion is very wide although could easily be improved i think this will be the console to beat in a year (seriously, the ps3 is over $500 so thats a MAJOR knock) you can absouletly lose yourself in a game... and thats awesome. the only downside... one of the controls feels like a dvd player remote that doesnt work right so you have to shake it and move it around like an idiot. |

I wanted one badly but I didn't save money last week thinking there'd be no way I could score one because of demand. Ron's Wii Review But I've been playing it and it is damn good. It lives up to all the hype. If you think about the dual motion sensing controls and pointing ability of the wii remote, you realize that you could be playing a game and suddenly have to manipulate something to proceed that would require some pretty innovative control schemes. The machine is damn versatile. And with the 24connect online service, you can download retro games and play them on the Wii. That is a great feature for those unfamiliar with pc console emulation. My ultimate point in regards to the Wii is that it is the most innovative system to hit gaming in years. Nintendo I believe has found their niche in the new world: the areas of the unknown.
