2 Sizes 2 Small

2 Sizes 2 Small has been around for a while, but since October '09, when they changed a bassist and a drummer, they've taken off. Winning battles, shows and fans' hearts. They won the Slaughter Battle of the Bands in Ocean Springs in November. They also went up against and won over Cathercist and Racecar Racecar in the Big Play Search, put on by 97.9 CPR ROCKS at the Crawfish Festival in April. The five then went on to battle Together Tomorrow on the infamous Pick It Or Flick, hosted by Denver Crab on 97.9. They won, 3 votes to 6 votes. Their song "The Release," is now in rotation on 97.9.

2S2S's earliers days consisted of "early blink-182" sounding, up-tempo songs. But with the member changes came a sound change. The guitar parts are catchier, the drums are more professional, and the vocals are simply incredible. They now resemble bands that you would hear on Warped Tour. The singer David Potter, is on key whether in the studio or in front of a crowd. He interacts with the crowd whle maintaining professionalism. The guitarists John Herron and Daniel Harper are a perfect match in music and it shows in their performance. The bassist Chris Dumal is large and in charge. Don't ever expect him to sit still on stage. On drums is the newest edition, Josh Shank. Almost true to the name "2 Sizes 2 Small," don't let his size fool you. This guy can PLAY. They only have a single out that is of professional quality but studio time is on the calendar for the end of this month. Be sure to keep an ear out for an EP!

With their engetic stage presence and talented members, nothing is standing in the way of this "SOCAL" punk rock band. Check out their myspace or facebook and see why this band is playing with bands like Together Tomorrow and Stereohype.
