What would you give up to reach 100 years?

Many Britons would give up some of their favourite things, including food and sex, to live to 100 years of age, a poll suggests.

But the Bupa survey found 94% would not give up the company of family and friends. People cited being there for family and seeing grandchildren grow up as the main reasons for wanting to reach 100.

Would you like to live to 100? If so, why? What would you sacrifice? What would you not give up? Can society cope with a growing number of elderly?

why would you give up the things you love so that you could live longer being miserable?

Length of life has nothing to do with quality. Although the longer you live definitely changes the definition of quality. At one time the secret to happiness was "carry a premo stash and be a good lay". Somewhere along the line that changes to seeing someone else achieve and develop. I don't remember my first or last home-run but, I can tell you the time/date/ and pitch-count of my sons. I've forgotten more gigs than I remember although I'm sure they were important at the time. My suggestion is git it, and git it now! At some point you won't even want it and will wonder why you ever did. I've gotten MORE MILEAGE OUT OF LESS TALENT THAN ANYBODY I KNOW. Now I wouldn't trade anything to out-live kin or anyone I know.

No crawfishing or begging for more time to get right with the lawd.
I don't think that money or sex has anything to do with it.
